Tony Thirkle

All of Tony’s six TT finishes up 2014 were in the top twenty finishing 11th in 2000, his fastest race average speed being 102.68mph when coming 15th in Race A last year on his 600cc DMR Honda.

During this period, Tony regularly appeared on the rostrum at the Oliver’s Mount Circuit in Scarborough, including a victory in July 2004 & competed in the FSRA British Championship, finishing 14th twice and 11th in the Super F2 Championship during the last three seasons.

Tony’s racing continues and in 2018 included returns to Scarborough to pilot yesteryear BMW machinery which in 2017 proved very competitive at Oliver’s Mount, showcased by three top six finishes at the Barry Sheene Road Race Festival. He’ll also be attending the Pre TT Classic races.

In his career Tony has now wrapped up 19 top 20 TT finishes.
